When I arrived at Thomson Target Media, a niche publishing division of Thomson Newspapers, I was hired to take over HealthFile. In time, I rebranded HealthFile as Body & More and repositioned it for a women-only audience. The difference between Body and More and a typical health publication is our team provided upbeat, solutions-oriented content rather than telling readers what might kill them. I also concepted and launched Bodyandmore.com and created a glossy version of the syndicated healthy living magazine for distribution in select Borders Books & Music stores. Body & More spoke to a market need and circulates today as a syndicated publication in print and online, marketed to men and women. Its continued existence is a testament to the thought and care that went into the creation of this title.
